Virus!CryVSCry coloring [WIP2]

Hello there friends! Been awhile since I actually did art stuff. So today I bring you a WIP of a another Virus VS Cry pic! But I didn't draw this as you can tell it isn't in my draw style, I can't even come close to drawing like this. >.> I wish though.

I left her a comment about how much I loved it and couldn't wait to see it colored. Ms-wabbit informed me that she wasn't all that great at coloring (I haven't seen her colored pics if she had any. I really need to go through her gallery.) and said I could color it if I wanted. 

And here we are! Well the WIP of it. I've just got done with the outlining by hand, I would use the pen tool but it'll take forever and although smoother, it I believe would take away the intensity of the scene. So yeah, forgive me if the outlines are like... crap. But I always make copies of outlines for pics like these. the copy I would scribble ugly lines with the natural outline so I can use it to pop in the colors without it spilling over to other areas. Its just how I work and color.

Though there are some lines I'm having trouble with since the style kinda blurred lines together and I don't know where each line goes or what's suppose to be there as part of the mask or the hair. >.> Yeah, sorry about that.

Anyway, the song of choice I had playing while working on this is The Computer Takeover - www.tettix.net/songs/computer_… - ... Fits pretty damn well for me with this scene. It may not be as intense but the feel of it fits. With Virus' hands around Cry's throat, he's going to do a complete take over by force, killing Cry or not at this point Virus doesn't seem to give two shits. XD;

Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun with this and I hope doing proud with the coloring so far.

Welp, here's more progress, basically got all the base colors down. Tomorrow, I get down to the shading. I may or may not finish before the weekend. I usually have my sister, have the desktop for the weekends since she works a lot, so yeah. xD I'm so excited!

Yeah, decided to switch it back to the old one to show the progress and put the WIP4 on as another post. I only did a few minor changes. Mostly going over the outline to make it stand out a bit more in the color without making it too bold. I don't think I did it right but I'm still learning. :3
